Scope

This policy covers the health data EILA reads from Android Health Connect. It supplements our general privacy policy, which governs everything else. Where the two overlap, this policy adds detail specific to Health Connect.

What we read

EILA requests read access to exactly nine metrics — no more:

• Sleep duration
• Resting heart rate
• Heart rate variability (HRV)
• Steps
• Active calories
• Workout duration
• Distance
• Weight
• Body fat percentage

How we access it

Access is read-only. The app holds no write permission, no activity-recognition permission, and no location permission — it can read these metrics and nothing else.

Access is strictly opt-in, granted through Health Connect's own permission screen. The app functions fully without it. If you revoke access in Health Connect settings, all future reads stop immediately.

Why we read it

To personalize your guidance. Each day's values become context the EILA agent uses to ground its recommendations against your actual physiology, rather than against population averages.

What we store

We store daily aggregates only — one value per metric per day: the date, the metric type, the value, the unit, and the source. We never store raw per-sample series or continuous streams.

These aggregates are held on Hetzner servers in Germany, the same data residency as your biopassport.

Sharing

Your health data is never sold and never shared for advertising. Health aggregates may be included in the context sent to Anthropic to generate your agent's responses, exactly as described in the processor list in our general privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Health aggregates follow the same lifecycle as the rest of your data. When you delete your account, we erase them from primary systems within 30 days. Encrypted backups are rotated within 90 days, after which any residual copies are unrecoverable.
